NEW FASHION APPAREL PRODUCTION DEGREE AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAM AT COLLEGE OF DUPAGE
The new certificate and degree are intended for a designer who is interested in marketing their design collection at a wholesale market, and using professional international sources to produce their collection for retail distribution. The program features hands on studio courses focusing on creating a marketable collection and taking it through the steps of production and marketing.
Ideally, the fashion design student could start working on the certificate while earning their AAS Fashion Design Degree or certificate. New students who have a strong background or formal education in clothing construction, flat pattern design, draping, design principles and illustration should make an appointment with Sharon Scalise scalise@cod.edu for program placement.
